Old Town San Diego was very cool. It would have been even more fun without my 4-year-old, whose patience for lingering over historical memorabilia and displays was...um...limited. You walk into Old Town, and it is precisely that - an old town. Vintage buildings. Photographs and detailed explanations. Old-fashioned artifacts and wares. Some living history displays.
Far and away, the highlight of this segment of our day out on town in San Diego was....
Several stores within Old Town sell a staggering array of colas and flavored root beers. Jarrod liked his Birch Beer, and my Curiosity Cola was an experience for my taste buds. Next time, we'll pick up one bottle of maybe five or six different flavors and take them back to the hotel for a tasting party.
Nice you can compare different places with the different age range with your kids. Great pics and the tasting party back ay the toom sounds like a fun idea!
