Coronado Island

While we were exploring the San Diego waterfront, we decided to hop a ferry to Coronado Island.  We caught the ferry at the Broadway Pier.  It gave us an up-close look at the USS Midway and simply stunning views of San Diego.

Once we disembarked at Coronado Island, we went exploring.  Unfortunately, we didn't make it out to the Hotel Del Coronado this time.  We did, however, find a lovely park.

Next time we return to Coronado Island, we're going to make sure our feet are well-rested beforehand and we'll make a day of it.  We'll pack a picnic and the sand toys, and take the ferry over again.
